In tribute to Sidhu Moosewala, Drake to release late singer's T-shirt merch soon
Washington (US), August 4: International rapper and singer Drake has once again won the hearts of his fans with a tribute to late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
To pay tribute to the late singer, Drake has announced that he will soon be releasing T-shirts with Sidhu Moosewala's face on them. Drake was spotted wearing the same T-shirt at a concert in Toronto earlier.
The profits from the sale of these T-shirts will go to Sidhu Moosewala's family, who will be able to decide where the funds should be donated.
The verified Instagram handle of Drake's website 'Drake Related' shared a video of Sidhu Moosewala and wrote, "Sidhu Moosewala (1993-2022). We celebrate your life and influence in India, Canada, everywhere. Rest in peace to our friend and legend. Remembering this legend with a tee available now on www.drakerelated.com. We are working with Sidhu's family to dedicate proceeds from this drop in his honour."

T-shirt pre-orders have already begun on Drake's official website. The T-shirt costs $65 USD, which is about Rs 5,000.
Drake wore the same T-shirt a week ago when performing at a concert in Toronto. And, shortly before the concert began, Drake stated, "I'm here tonight, grateful, just as a kid who grew up wide-eyed. I'm a fan; I'm one of you tonight. I'm grateful to be from the greatest city in the world..."
The international rapper started following Sidhu Moosewala on Instagram in 2020.
Earlier when Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in May, Drake expressed grief on the social media platform and posted a story in his honour.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by assailants in Jawaharke village of Punjab's Mansa district on May 29.
