ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings: Gain for Athapaththu, Harmanpreet
New Delhi, July 12: Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu and Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur have seen a jump in their ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings after the final match of their Women’s Championship (IWC) series played in Pallekele.
Athapaththu's 44-run performance has helped her move up two spots to ninth place, which she had earlier attained following her incredible 178 off 143 balls against Australia in the ODI World Cup in 2017.
Meanwhile, Kaur has climbed one slot to take 13th position, her Player of the Match effort of 75 helping her gain 12 rating points.

The Indian skipper who finished with 119 runs and three wickets in India’s 3-0 win and was named Player of the Series, has also moved up eight ranks to 71st among bowlers and four places to 20th among all-rounders.
Yastika Bhatia (up one spot to 45th), Pooja Vastrakar (up eight places to 53rd), and Shafali Verma (up three places to 33rd) are three other Indian batters who have advanced in the rankings.
Rajeshwari Gayakwad has moved up three spots to joint-ninth position in the bowlers' rankings after taking three for 36. Meghna Singh has moved up four spots to joint-43rd place and Vastrakar has moved up two spots to joint-48th place.
