HRTC driver killed, 34 hurt in accident on Chandigarh-Manali highway
Mandi, April 4: The driver of an HRTC bus was killed while 34 passengers were injured when it collided against a wall on the Chandigarh-Manali highway near Pandoh in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday. According to Himachal Pradesh Police, the HRTC bus was on its way to Mandi from Kullu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle. The bus collided against the wall on the Chandigarh-Manali highway, leaving the driver dead and 40 others injured. Superintendent of Police, Mandi, Shalini Agnihotri said rescue operation was underway and the injured were being taken to the nearby hospital. Further investigations are underway. -PTC News
