Hisar : Two sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for raping minor with mental disability
A district court in Hisar sentenced two men to undergo 20 years imprisonment for raping a 17-year-old mentally disabled girl in a village.
The convicts, 21-year-old Sanjay and 34-year-old Subhash, both resideHisar : Two sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for raping minor with mental disabilitynts of Rakhi village in Hisar gang-raped a girl on August 18, 2017. The victim was raped by the two men when she was alone at home.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Pankaj also imposed a fine of Rs. 53,000 on both the convicts.The court also ordered the convicts to pay Rs. 50,000 each to the victim as compensation.
A case under Indian Penal Code sections 452 , 506, 376 and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered in this connection.
