Punjab Weather update: Heavy rains continue to lash in various parts of Punjab and Haryana, leading to fall in temperature. A heavy spell of rain lashed in various parts of Punjab including Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in Haryana. As per the meteorological department forecasting, the temperature dipped after overnight rain leading to clear skies and pleasant rainy weather on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Haryana’s Ambala received 42.4mm of rainfall, Hisar with 15mm and Fatehabad with 9.5mm of rainfall. In Punjab, Patiala received 40.5mm of rain, Fatehgarh Sahib with 21.5mm and Ludhiana with 20.6mm of rainfall. Meanwhile, for pedestrians, the waterlogging on the roads in several parts of Chandigarh was troublesome. Traffic has been hampered as a result of the area being waterlogged after the light to moderate rain. The constant rain also had a detrimental effect on even the vegetables and fodder.
