New Delhi, July 15: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Friday launched 'Covid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav' at Covid Vaccination Camp in Nirman Bhawan and urged the masses to get the free dose so as to ensure protection against Covid-19.

"All Health Ministry employees initiated their inoculation of the free doses. My appeal to all citizens above the age of 18 years to get the free dose to ensure your protection against COVID19," the Union Minister said, adding, "On 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', all eligible populations (18 ) can get a free precaution dose for the next 75 days, starting today." Meanwhile, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba is likely to chair a meeting with all Chief Secretaries of all States/UTs on the free precaution dose campaign launched today for the next 75 days. This specific vaccination campaign, which is a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, seeks to give free precautionary doses to all individuals (18 years and older) who are eligible at Government COVID Vaccination Centres (CVCs).
