Haryana Class 12 Board Exam: English question paper leaked in Nuh, Punhana and Sonepat

PTC Web Desk: The Haryana Class 12 board examinations commenced today (February 27), but reports of an alleged question paper leak surfaced within the first 30 minutes of English exam in Nuh and Punhana. A video has emerged showing someone inside the examination centre sending out the question paper, which was then photographed and circulated outside.

In Nuh, a large crowd of students’ acquaintances gathered outside the exam centres. At Mount Aravalli Public School, the police had to intervene and disperse individuals suspected of assisting in cheating. Meanwhile, in Sonepat’s Jatwara examination centre, people were seen climbing walls to aid students in cheating.

English paper started at 12.30 pm. The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has set up a total of 1,431 examination centers across the state, with 1,98,160 students appearing for the Class 12 exam, along with an additional 25,232 distance learning students.

HBSE Secretary Ajay Chopra stated that an investigation is underway, and appropriate action will be taken as per the regulations. However, he has not yet confirmed whether the paper leak is verified.

In Sonepat’s Government Senior Secondary School, Jatwara, reports surfaced of students allegedly sending question paper images outside. The flying squad conducted a surprise inspection, but the suspects received prior warning, allowing them to evade detection.
