Govt issues notice to Twitter to remove contents related to farmer genocide

Modi Planning Farmer Genocide: Amid farmers protest in India, the Government of India on Wednesday issued a notice to Twitter to comply with its order to remove contents and accounts related to farmer genocide. The news agency ANI stated that the "Govt has issued a notice to Twitter to comply with its order to remove contents/accounts related to farmer genocide." "Twitter unilaterally unblocked accounts and tweets despite government order for blocking. Twitter is an intermediary and they are obliged to obey the direction of govt. Refusal to do so will invite penal action," it stated further. "Twitter may face penal action for not complying with government orders," it said.
