Gold Price Today: Ahead of the inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden, the gold prices in India witnessed a positive trend in line with the global market.
Joe Biden's inauguration is scheduled to be held on Wednesday as the US President-elect will be sworn into office as the 46th President. Likewise, the investors have focused on the USD 1.9 trillion stimulus package.

According to the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February gold futures were 0.27 percent higher on Wednesday at Rs 49,010 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver prices increased by Rs 259 to Rs 66,296 per kg.
According to the Good Returns, the rate for 22-karat gold in Delhi was Rs 47,810, while in Mumbai, it was Rs 48,010. Similarly, the gold is being sold at Rs 46,330 in Chennai, while in Kolkata the yellow metal was sold at Rs 48,330.

The gold prices in India were affected by the global trend in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. However, the losses have been limited in India following the vaccine's announcements.
