'Gangster' killed in Punjab's Moga, another injured
Moga, April 2: Two motorcycle-riding youths on Saturday allegedly shot and killed a 'gangster' at Marhi Mustafa village in Punjab's Moga district, while another was injured in this gang war. According to the source, the incident took place at about 1.30 pm when two motorcycle-borne youths opened fire on Harjit Singh alias Pinta (32) and his associate Gurpreet Singh (20). Both are the residents of Marhi Mustafa village and were at the bus stop of the village in the Baghapurana sub-division. The latter was rushed to the civil hospital at Baghapurana for treatment. His condition is said to be stable. The Baghapurana police sent Harjit's body to the district hospital for post-mortem. According to the police, the deceased had around 10 criminal cases registered against him in Faridkot, Moga and other districts.
