First-term exams one month away, Govt schools yet to get books

Chandigarh, August 5: As per the schedule of the Punjab Department, the exams of first-term is month away and students of Government schools of Punjab haven’t received Punjabi and English textbooks for the preparation of exams. The academic session was started in the month of April and students of classes 1st, 2nd and 4th are yet to receive the textbooks. textbook5 Also Read: CBIC clarifies on GST imposed on SGPC ‘sarais’ in Amritsar Taking to notice the condition of the government schools of Punjab, students of class 1st are still without English textbooks and the students of class 2nd and 4th are without English and Punjabi textbooks. The lack of supply of textbooks results in loss of study and Government schools in Punjab are struggling with their preparations for terminal examination. textbook4 Even parents are also facing difficulties and are struggling hard to teach their children without textbooks. In contrary to claims of implementing Delhi education matter in Punjab, Government schools in Punjab are yet to get the supply of books. As per the Punjab Education Department, the textbooks issues every year to the students in the month of May but this year, the school is yet to receive book supply. -PTC News
