Farmers Protest: SC to hear petition seeking removal of protestors from Delhi borders
Supreme Court on Farmers Protest in India: The protest against farm laws 2020 has entered its 21st day while farmers continue to camp on Delhi borders for the withdrawal of newly enacted farm acts despite the cold weather. Meanwhile, a petition filed seeking removal of protestors from Delhi borders will be heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
As per the report, three petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the farmers protest. A bench of Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Justice AS Bopanna, and Justice V Ramasubramaniam will hear the petitions.

A petition filed by the law student Rishabh Sharma has sought the removal of agitating farmers from the Delhi borders. The petition stated that roads were blocked due to agitation while the emergency and medical services were disrupted.
The petition also stated that the agitators should be shifted to the fixed place allotted by the Central government while another plea said that the apex court should direct the Centre to consider the farmers' demand.
The farmers protest in India against farm laws 2020 has been going on for the last 21 days. The farmers on Wednesday announced that they have decided to pay tribute to all those farmers who lost their lives in the protest. Also, they have again warned to block the Chilla border.

The farm unions held five rounds of talks with the Centre and even attended a meeting called by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. However, all the meetings remained inconclusive.
The farmers' have been demanding to repeal the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
