Farmers' protest: SC asks Centre to find solution to blockade of roads
The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Centre to find a solution to the blockade of roads due to the ongoing farmers' protest against the three farm laws.
The development took place while the Supreme Court was hearing a petition of a Noida resident seeking direction to ensure that the road between Noida to Delhi is kept clear.

While farmers are demanding the repeal of farm laws, the Central government has been adamant on its stand to discuss the legislations 'clause-wise'.

Thousands of farmers have been protesting against three farm laws at Delhi borders and have been seeking a guarantee on MSP.
There have been several rounds of meeting between the Centre and farmer unions but all of them remained inconclusive.
Farmers have been protesting against the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
