Delhi ring road for Tractor March: While farmers are preparing for the historic Tractor March on Republic Day i.e. January 26, the farmers' organisations are likely to demand 'Delhi ring road' to perform Kisan Republic Day parade, sources revealed on Sunday. The information came ahead of the farmers meeting, scheduled to be held at 2 pm on Sunday where farmers are likely to decide the roadmap for Kisan Republic Day parade. Meanwhile, Mandip Nathwan, Convener, Kisan Sangharsh Samiti, Haryana, said that "On behest of govt, some people want to turn this agitation violent. This agitation is against policies of government, and not against Delhi. We should implement strategy finalised by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha and continue it peacefully." Also Read | First time ever! No such programme has been finalised by the Morcha. Such statements are not in interests of farmers," Mandip Nathwan said. Likewise, Hannan Mollah, General Secretary, All India Kisan Sabha, said that "For almost two months, we are suffering and dying in cold weather. The government is giving us 'tarikh pe tarikh' and are dragging things so that we get tired and leave the place. This is their conspiracy." The farmers’ have been protesting at Delhi borders against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. -PTC News
