Ex-IPS Kunwar Vijay Pratap joins AAP in Punjab in presence of Arvind Kejriwal
Ahead of Punjab Assembly elections 2022, former IPS officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh on Monday joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Amritsar. After the induction of the former IPS officer in AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, in Amritsar, said that "Kunwar Vijay Pratap was not a politician as he was called 'aam aadmi ka policewala'." It may be recalled that former IPS officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh was a part of the SIT probing the 2015 Kotkapura police firing incident in Punjab. This is the second visit of Kejriwal to the state in nearly 3 months. Earlier in March, the Delhi CM had hit out at the Captain Amarinder Singh-led Punjab government, accusing it of not keeping its poll promises and deceiving people.
