Vicky Kaushal's National Award winning 'Sardar Udham Singh' completes 3 years

He wrote, "Forever grateful. #3yearsofSardarUdham." Helmed by Soojit Sircar, the film was released in 2021 on Prime Video and starred Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.
Sardar Udham Singh also received the Best Hindi Film Feature Award at the 69th National Film Awards. Directed by Soojit Sircar, the film premiered on Prime Video in 2021 and featured Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. "Sardar Udham" is a biopic about freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India, in 1940 as retribution for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film performed exceptionally well at the IIFA and Filmfare Awards, with Vicky winning the Best Actor award at IIFA 2022. It also earned accolades in the Cinematography, Editing, and Visual Effects categories.

On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal will appear in his upcoming film Chhaava. This historical drama, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, showcases Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
