Tahira Kashyap's breast cancer relapsed after 7 years, shares heartfelt post
PTC News Desk: Writer and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap on Monday shared that her breast cancer has been relapsed after 7 years. Ayushman Khurana's wife took to her social media and announced this unfortunate news revealing her cancer diagnosis.
The 42-year-old is now battling a breast cancer relapse, seven years after she beat it for the first time.
She shared a post which read, "Seven year itch or the power of regular screening- it's a perspective, I had like to go with the latter and suggest the same for everyone who needs to get regular mammograms. Round 2 for me...I still got this."
Tahira captioned the post, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life becomes too generous and throws them again at you, you squeeze them calmly into your favourite kala khatta drink and sip it with all the good intentions. Because for one it’s a better drink and two you know you will give it your best once again (red heart emoji)."

Tahira was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. She is often voice her concern for spreading awareness of the disease. She has also been on the forefront in leading body positivity campaigns by sharing her own surgery scars. She gracefully accepted her baldness and refused to wear a wig. Despite her parents' objection she put up the pictures on social media of her baldness.
