‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ fame Vaibhavi Upadhyaya dies in car accident
Vaibhavi Upadhyaya dies: Actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, best known for her role as Jasmine in the popular 2000s sitcom ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ has passed away. The actor died in a car accident in Himachal Pradesh
According to reports, Vaibhavi was travelling in a car with her fiance when the vehicle suddenly went out of control at a steep turn.
The news of her passing away was shared by producer JD Matheja.

Matheja shared an emotional Instagram post, saying “Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay popularly known as 'Jasmine' of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away. She met with an accident in the north. The family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for the last rites. RIP Vaibhavi."
More information about her death is awaited.
Vaibhavi had previously worked with Deepika Padukone on the films 'Chhapaak' in 2020 and 'Timir' in 2023. Vaibhavi's death came just a few days after actor Aditya Singh Rajput was discovered dead at his flat in Andheri, Mumbai, on May 22.
