Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas gets death threats, security beefed up at Delhi hotel
Jasmine Sandlas gets death threats: Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas received death threats on Saturday from people allegedly associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Sandlas, who stays in the US, has been in Delhi to perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
As soon as the singer stepped off the plane in Delhi, she began receiving death threats from international numbers.
According to police, the singer was told she would be attacked at the stadium today.
The five-star hotel in Delhi where Sandlas is staying has beefed up security. The singer is also being protected by the Delhi police.
Jasmine Sandlas has had multiple chart-topping hits and has even lent her voice to some fun Bollywood songs. She has sung the song 'Yaar Naa Miley' in Salman Khan's 'Kick,' as well as 'Illegal Weapon 2.0' in Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's Street Dance 3D.
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, on the other hand, is currently lodged in Ahmedabad jail on drug smuggling charges. Notably, Bishnoi is also an accused in the murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala.
