Punjabi actor, director Gurinder Dimpy dies at 47
Chandigarh, November 7: A wave of gloom and sorrow has spread over Punjabi film industry. Popular Punjabi actor and director Gurinder Dimpy passed away at the age of 47 on Monday morning.
Gurinder Dimpy also known as Gurinder Singh Mongia was a well-known personality, actor and director in Punjabi industry.

He worked with famous and renowned actor like Ammy Virk, Sidhu Moosewala, Gippy Grewal and various other personalities.
He also performed and made special appearances in many famous songs and movies such as Laung Laachi, Zakhmi, Carry On Jatta 2, Vadhaiyan Ji Vadhaiyan, Uda Aida and several other.
His work, acting and directorship was highly appreciated by many of his friends and celebrities of Punjabi industry.
Meanwhile, besides being a talented actor, he was also lyricist and writer.
He penned several dialogues and songs and recently dubbed Sidhu Moosewala’s album Moosetape Intro.
Gurinder Dimpy’s sudden demise left the whole Punjabi industry in shock.
The Punjabi Film Industry has indeed lost a gem with the passing away of talented actor, writer and director Gurinder Dimpy.
