Big wins and Ssurprises at Oscars 2025
Best Actress went to Mikey Madison for her stellar performance in Anora
Adrien Brody won Best Actor for The Brutalist.
Kieran Culkin took home Best Supporting Actor for A Real Pain.
Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress for Emilia Perez, which also secured the Best Original Song award.
Conclave triumphed in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.

India’s hope dashed as 'Anuja' misses out
India’s only shortlisted entry, Anuja, nominated for Best Live Action Short Film, fell short of victory. The film, backed by Priyanka Chopra and two-time Oscar-winner Guneet Monga, lost to I'm Not Robot, leaving India without a win this year.
The event, hosted by Conan O’Brien, paid a heartfelt tribute to the victims and heroes of the recent Los Angeles wildfires.
