Orry, seven others booked for consuming alcohol at hotel near Vaishno Devi in Katra
PTC Web Desk: Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has been named in an FIR along with seven others for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir. The hotel is located near the revered Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, where alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited.
According to reports, the FIR (No. 72/25) was filed on March 15 after a complaint was lodged against the guests, including Orry, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina. The police took swift action under the directives of SSP Reasi, Paramvir Singh (JKPS), while highlighting a zero-tolerance policy towards such violations at religious sites.
The police stated that despite being informed about the rules, people consumed alcohol within the hotel premises. The case is being investigated by a team led by SP Katra, DySP Katra, and SHO Katra, ensuring strict enforcement of the law.
The SSP, Reasi, warned that those who disrupt peace or violate legal norms, especially through substance use near religious sites, will face stringent legal consequences.
Orry, known for his high-profile connections with celebrities like Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor and Nysa Devgn, frequently appears at elite events and was recently seen on 'Koffee With Karan 8'.
