PTC News Desk: The five-month wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant came to an end on July 14 with the newlyweds' banquet, Mangal Utsav. The pre-wedding celebrations thrown by Mukesh and Nita Ambani, as well as the baraat, jaimala, and bidaai, were all star-studded affairs. A number of Bollywood stars, international celebrities, politicians, and cricket players attended the event.
The whole film fraternity appeared to be present! Well, some celebrities were absent from the year's most anticipated wedding. However, why? We know the following.
Kartik Aaryan
Star of Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan, started filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earlier this month. He undoubtedly has a busy schedule, but so do many of the other celebrities that attended the wedding, like Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan. A few Reddit users, however, are certain that Kartik was not invited to the Ambani party due to a purported romantic past with Janhvi Kapoor, who is currently dating groomsman and best friend of Anant, Shikhar Pahariya. Kareena and Saif
The life of the party at Anant and Radhika's first pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in March of this year was Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Another viral video featured the two swaying on stage with Diljit Dosanjh.
However, the pair was forced to miss the lavish wedding since, according to reports, they are currently vacationing with their sons Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan. According to sources, Bebo and Saif never, ever skip their July vacation. Nonetheless, practically every aspect of Anant and Radhika's wedding celebrations included Saif's oldest son Ibrahim Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan.
Akshay and Twinkle
During the pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar delivered a remarkable performance at three in the morning. But he had to miss the wedding since he tested positive for COVID-19, as per sources. In addition to missing Anant and Radhika's wedding, Akshay also skipped the final leg of Sarfira's campaign, which came out lately. Twinkle Khanna, his actor-turned-author wife, is likewise by herself.
Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut is one of the busiest celebrities in town right now, balancing her job as an actor with her career in politics. In addition to her previous obligations, Kangana was present at her cousin Varun Ranaut's wedding. It was a family event that was clearly not to be missed. According to reports, the actor skipped Radhika and Anant's wedding for this reason.
Anushka and Virat
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli flew to the UK to be with his actor wife Anushka Sharma and their kids Vamika and Akaay shortly after winning the T20 World Cup. While the majority of Bollywood danced at Anant's baraat, Anushka and Virat went to a London Kirtan performed by American vocalist Krishna Das. Aamir Khan
A memorable moment from Radhika and Anant's pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar was when Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan, the three Khans of Bollywood, came together on stage to do a memorable act. Salman and SRK attended the wedding, however Aamir was not present. But he did attend Radhika and Anant's shaadi with his daughter Ira Khan and son-in-law Nupur Shikhare.

Parineeti and Raghav
Witnessing worldwide star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, along with husband Nick Jonas, dance to her heart out at Anant's baraat was an absolute pleasure. However, Parineeti Chopra, Priyanka's actor cousin, was unable to attend the wedding because she was not in India. Parineeti has now published photos from the 2024 Wimbledon Finals with her and her political spouse Raghav Chadha.
Diljit Dosanjh
Superstar Diljit Dosanjh from Punjab performed at Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar in March, and Nita gave him a Gujarati lesson live on stage. He did not, however, attend the wedding last week because he is now in Canada for the Dil-Luminati Tour Year 24, which saw him make history by selling out tickets for his performance at the Rogers Centre.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja skipped the glamorous event, but the evergreen Anil Kapoor attended the wedding of the year alongside his younger daughter Rhea Kapoor, who dressed as Radhika's bride. The actor was occupied with going to the UK women's Wimbledon finals.
