‘Scars on body or hope in eyes?’ Hina Khan shares 1st sign of progress amid breast cancer

Hina Khan 1st sign of progress : Actor Hina Khan, who recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer and has been sharing her health journey through Instagram handle dropped new unseen pictures as a 1st sign of progress amid breast cancer. 

On Saturday, Hina Khan posted pictures of her scars on her Instagram handle, accompanied by a heartfelt message which reads, “What do you see in this Picture? The Scars on my body or the Hope in my Eyes? The scars are mine , I embrace them with love because they’re the first sign of the Progress I deserve. The Hope in my Eyes is the reflection of my Soul, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am manifesting my healing. And I am praying for yours too. #SacrredNotScared #DaddysStrongGirl”


 

Soon after posting her pictures on Instagram, several fans and celebrities commented expressing her support and love. Designer Masaba Gupta commented, "Take care of yourself Hina." Actor Dalljiet Kaur expressed her support, saying, "You will heal my love. We all are praying for you." Arjun Bijlani showed his support with heart emojis. 


Hina Khan chops off hair amid breast cancer

Hina Khan, who recently had her first chemotherapy session, also posted a video of herself cutting off her hair. 

In the video, the actor is seen sitting in front of a mirror as her friend braids her hair. She is also seen consoling her mother, who sat on the bed and cried.

In the video the actor is heard saying, "Ro nahi please mumma. It's just hair, mumma. Baal hain, aap nahi cut karte ho. Bas. Aapki tabiyat kharab hojayegi (loosely translated).

She captioned the video, “You can hear my mother’s wailing voice in Kashmiri (blessing me) in the background as she prepared herself to witness something she never dared to imagine. Not all of us have the same tools at our disposal to manage heartbreaking emotions.”

Encouraging women who are fighting the same battle, she wrote, “To all the beautiful people out there, especially women who are fighting the same battle, I know it’s hard, I know for most of us, our hair is the crown we never take off. But what if you’re facing a battle so tough that you have to lose your hair—your pride, your crown? If you want to win you’ve got to take some tough decisions. And I choose to win.”

Hair will grow back, eyebrows will return, scars will fade, but the spirit must remain whole,” she added. 

One of the most well-liked actors in the television business has been Hina Khan. She became well-known for playing the character of Akshara in the hit television series "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai." 

Hina has gained a significant following and demonstrated her versatility by participating in reality series such as 'Bigg Boss' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi,' in addition to her success on television. With projects like "Hacked" and "Damaged 2," she later moved into movies and online media.

She was recently seen in Shinda Shinda No Papa and Ritam Shrivastava's directorial comedy-drama series 'Namacool’
