Govinda reunites with Krushna Abhishek on Kapil Sharma's Show, calls his nephew 'Gadha'
PTC News Desk: The next episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will be interesting because it will mark Govinda's first appearance after his leg injury when he accidentally shot himself in the feet. But that is not all.
The episode will be momentous since it will feature the superstar's long-awaited reunion with his nephew Krushna Abhishek, a cast member on Kapil Sharma's show. The Dulhe Raja actor will appear with Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Panday, and the promo has already aired.
While we get a glimpse into camaraderie between some of the greatest actors of the 1990s, it's the family reunion that steals the show.
The promo for the upcoming episode showed Govinda greeting his nephew with open arms. They later danced together and hugged, with Krushna saying, "Do saal baad mile hai, aaj nahi chodunga main." His sister, Arti Singh, who was in the crowd, was seen holding back tears at the touching moment.
During his performance, Krushna referred to Kiku Sharda as a "gadha." Govinda joked that there was one more donkey among them and pointed to his nephew.
Govinda and Krushna Abhishek had a falling out, which resulted in a troubled relationship for years. It all began in 2016 when the superstar deemed Krushna's joke insulting. Things worsened after his wife Kashmera Shah wrote a tweet criticising people dancing for money, which was seen as directed at Govinda.
His wife Sunita Ahuja has stated that she never appeared on the Netflix edition of the Kapil Sharma Show due to the conflict and that there are no hopes of reconciliation between the families.
