Elvish Yadav detained by Noida police in snake venom case: Reports
PTC News Desk: YouTuber Elvish Yadav was apprehended by Noida Police on Sunday concerning the snake venom case, as per reports. He is slated to appear in court following his arrest. The arrest comes in the wake of allegations that Elvish Yadav was involved in supplying snake venom at rave parties.
Six individuals, including Elvish Yadav, were implicated under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for purportedly procuring snake venom for a party in Noida’s Sector 51. This operation was conducted under the auspices of People for Animals, a wildlife conservation organisation founded by Maneka Gandhi.
Forensic examination revealed the presence of cobra and krait snake venom in samples collected from the party venue. People for Animals initiated a sting operation to expose the illegal utilisation of endangered animals. Elvish Yadav was implicated based on allegations that he facilitated the procurement of snake venom through his network.

Despite facing multiple rounds of interrogation, Elvish Yadav vehemently denied any involvement in the case. During a sting operation conducted by People For Animals, nine snakes were discovered at the party venue. All of these snakes had their venom glands removed, and eight out of the nine snakes were found to have their teeth missing.
The incident regarding the rave party dates back to November 3 of last year when it was hosted at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51. It's worth noting that Elvish was not present at the party.
