'The Tonight Show': Diljit Dosanjh teaches Jimmy Fallon 'Sat Sri Akal' before show debut; here's Priyanka Chopra's reaction

PTC News Desk: Diljit Dosanjh, an actor and singer, will be on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for the first time. Jimmy and Diljit posted a joint photo to Instagram on Tuesday in advance of the show. 

Jimmy is taught Punjabi by Diljit


Jimmy Fallon and Diljit exchanged hugs at the beginning of the video. "Learning how to speak Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh," was what was written on the video. Diljit initially remarked, "Punjabi agaye oye (The Punjabi are here)." Jimmy said it again.

The singer then exclaimed, "Sat Sri Akal!" while folding her palms. It's a Punjabi greeting. Jimmy obediently followed Diljit, who exclaimed, "Wow." Diljit will be seen on the show dressed traditionally in a black half jacket, matching turban, and white kurta pyjamas. The caption for the video read, "Sat Sri Akal! @diljitdosanjh." The couple hugged and laughed as the video came to a conclusion.

In response to Diljit and Jimmy's video, Priyanka

"It's the Oye (hey) for me," Priyanka Chopra remarked in response to the video. To which Guneet Monga said, "Punjabi." An admirer remarked, "What a legend." "Only star who can teach Punjabi to Hollywood," someone wrote in a comment. "Global dominance," a user on Instagram remarked. The possibilities are endless." Jimmy Fallon was mockingly referred to by someone else as "Jimmy."

Diljit will make an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

Diljit just posted a video featuring an exclusive look at the sets of the show. He uploaded a video to Instagram showing him working hard with his staff to get ready for the show. He posted on social media to indicate that he would be appearing on the show. "PANJABI AAGYE OYEE," he captioned a set of images that he posted. The Guests of This Week."

Diljit has a track record of shattering records. During his Dil-Luminati tour in April, he made history by becoming the first Punjabi performer to grace Vancouver's BC Place stadium. On Instagram, he posted photos from the sold-out show.

Projects of Diljit

Diljit and Parineeti Chopra recently appeared in Imtiaz Ali's musical biography Amar Singh Chamkila. The life and hardships of Amar Singh Chamkila are examined in the movie. Along with these notable performances, the film also stars Anjum Batra, Nisha Bano, Apinderdeep Singh, Rahul Mittra, Udaybir Sandhu, Sahiba Bali, Tushar Dutt, Robbie Johal, Pavneet Singh, and Anuraag Arora. On April 12, Amar Singh Chamkila became available on Netflix.

In addition, Diljit is getting ready for his upcoming film, Jatt & Juliet 3, which also features Neeru Bajwa. Neeru and Diljit are both playing police officers in the comedy-drama; she is his boss at work. Jasmin Bajwa appears in the movie as well. On June 27, it will be released worldwide. Bhairava hymn from Kalki 2898 AD, his most recent song, is likewise grabbing media attention.
