Diljit Dosanjh takes Delhi by storm, waves Tricolour as he performs in JLN stadium | see UNSEEN PICS from Dil-Luminati Tour
Diljit Dosanjh India concert: The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi was packed with fans eager to see singer Diljit Dosanjh perform on stage. The Punjabi singer began the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26, mesmerising the audience in an all-black look while performing his hit songs.
After his opening number, he stopped to mark his return to India by waving the national flag overhead, to loud applause from the audience.
He said: "Ye mera desh, mera ghar hai (This is my country, this is my home)!"
The singer then thanked fans for their love and kindness across the years, as well as their continued support for his songs. Fans were seen becoming emotional as they saw their favourite artist perform live.
The singer also shared photos from the first day of his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024. Diljit took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo from his concert.
The first picture showed Diljit standing on stage, holding the National Flag. A few photos show the singer performing on stage. Diljit also gave a glimpse of the enormous audience inside the stadium. He shared the photographs with the caption, "History (pushpin emoji). Dosanjhanwala Naam DELHI Utey Likheya Khaasa Zor Lagg Ju Mitaun wastey (I wrote the name ‘Dosanjhwala’ all over Delhi. It’ll take a lot to erase it)." It is a line from one of his songs.
