PTC Web Desk: Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh delivered a spectacular concert for his fans in Jaipur on Sunday. As he took the stage, the crowd erupted in excitement. He kicked off the show with his popular song "Gabru" and later addressed the phrase "Main Hoon Punjab," offering a clarification. Additionally, he praised the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

When Diljit appeared on stage, fans held up posters reading "Main Hoon Punjab." In response, he remarked, "People from here, when they travel outside, proudly say 'Khamma Ghani' and declare they are from Jaipur. Yet, when I say 'Main Hoon Punjab,' some people seem to take issue."

He also commended Rajasthan’s unique arts, stating, "I don’t consider myself a great singer, but the artists here are incredibly talented. Compared to them, my art is insignificant. I thank everyone for keeping the music and art of Rajasthan alive."

Diljit Dosanjh invited a young man from the Marwari community on stage and praised the traditional Rajasthani turban. "This is the beauty of India," he said. "Every few km, the culture changes, from food to clothing and lifestyle, and we all respect that diversity."

During the concert, Diljit Dosanjh also addressed complaints of ticket fraud, apologising to fans who faced issues. "If anyone has experienced any fraud related to ticket purchases, I sincerely apologise," he said. "Our team is not involved in this, and an investigation is ongoing. Please stay alert. The tickets sold out so quickly that even we were surprised."

Throughout his Dil-Luminati Tour, Diljit Dosanjh has actively promoted Punjab and Punjabi culture. During his Delhi concert, he said, "When I was born, my mother spoke Punjabi. The first words I learned were in Punjabi. Our country has many languages, and I respect them all."

Diljit expressed admiration for Jaipur’s local cuisine and scenic attractions. "Before coming on stage, I had dal baati churma, and last night, I visited City Palace. It’s a stunning place, and I can say you all live in a truly beautiful city," he added.
