Diljit Dosanjh gets royal welcome in 'beautiful pink city' Jaipur, shares video ahead of concert
PTC News Desk: Diljit Dosanjh is in the spotlight as he prepares for his highly awaited show in Jaipur as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. Princess Diya Kumari, a renowned member of Jaipur's Royal Family and the current Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, greeted Dosanjh warmly and royally before the performance on Sunday evening.
Diljit Dosanjh released a video on Instagram of his arrival in the pink city. He expressed his gratitude by writing, "Beautiful pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan...it was a beautiful experience, thank Princess Diya Kumari."
He also had a message for the concertgoers: "Dal Bati Churma khaa ke aana baut Bhangra hone wala hai aaj shaam ko (Have Dal Bati Churma before coming, there will be tonnes of Bhangra this evening) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24."
The video shows the popular singer arriving in style, hopping on a horse carriage while dressed impeccably in a white suit and black turban. He walked with Princess Diya, who was seen sharing insights about the palace's beauty. The video also shows a spectacular dinner shared with members of the royal family in Jaipur.
Princess Diya Kumari, the granddaughter of Man Singh II, the last Maharaja of Jaipur under British rule, also posted the welcome video to her Instagram account.
Diljit Dosanjh is now on his Dil-Luminati Tour, which began in Delhi and will go across India, including Jaipur. In September, he announced more shows due to high demand, including performances in Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
