On Wednesday, the immensely popular Punjabi artist announced the addition of two new shows to the India leg of his highly anticipated Dil-Luminati tour. Originally announced last month, the tour's schedule did not include Jaipur, prompting complaints from many fans. It appears those voices were heard, leading to this exciting update.
The promoters of the Dil-Luminati tour revealed late Tuesday night that two additional shows have been added: one in Delhi on October 27 and another in Jaipur on November 3. Diljit took to his Instagram Stories shortly thereafter to share this news with his followers, along with the crucial detail that tickets for these new dates would go on sale starting Wednesday, October 9. Notably, Diljit is also set to perform in Delhi on October 26, making it a thrilling weekend for fans in the capital.
The tickets for the initial shows of the Dil-Luminati tour were made available on September 10, and the response was nothing short of phenomenal. Most shows sold out within minutes, showcasing the singer’s immense popularity. One user on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, “Insane craze for Diljit Dosanjh concert. Tickets sold out in a minute for Dil-Luminati. Cricket World Cup ke din yaad aa gaye (reminds me of the craze for the World Cup).”
Diljit expressed his feelings of being “overwhelmed” by the enthusiastic response to his upcoming Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, which has already set records as the highest-grossing concert tour in India, selling 250,000 tickets. The tour is set to kick off in Delhi on October 26, with the additional show following on October 27.
The schedule continues with performances in Jaipur on November 2, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14, and will conclude in Guwahati on December 29.
