'Chaotic but yours,' Swara Bhasker marries Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Ahmed
Actor Swara Bhasker on Thursday announced her wedding to Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Ahmad on Twitter. The actor posted a video with a montage of all their adorable moments and detailed their love story. The Veere Di Wedding actress revealed that the couple had registered their wedding in court under the Special Marriage Act on January 6, 2023.
The actress took to Twitter to share a video of their touching love story. Swara showed a glimpse of her court marriage at the registrar's office with her parents in attendance.
"Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!" she captioned the video.

For those unaware, Fahad is the Maharashtra Unit President of the Samajwadi Party youth wing.
They first met in January 2020, 'obviously at a protest,' according to the video.
Fahad reportedly joined Samajwadi Party on August 1, 2022. The Mumbai-based political leader received his bachelor's degree from Aligarh Muslim University and his master's degree in social work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Fahad is four years younger than Swara Bhasker. He was a prominent figure in the nationwide anti-CAA protests.
