'Tried everything...': Badshah opens up on his separation from ex-wife Jasmine for the first time
PTC News Desk: Rapper and singer Badshah, who has always kept his personal life quiet hidden, has opened out about his divorce from ex-wife Jasmine Masih for the first time. He also discussed his relationship with his daughter, who lives in London.
Badshah on 'Prakhar ke Pravachan' podcast said, "We both tried everything. We did our best and gave everything we had. We separated because it was not good for our child. I get to see my child, although not very frequently because she lives in London."
Furthermore, Badshah added that his relationship with his daughter is quite friendly. "She attended my concert. My dad is cool. He's quite cool. But she isn't a fan. She listens to Blackpink. As a musician, buying another musician's merchandise for your own child is a little painful," the singer said.
Badshah also discussed his definition of love and relationships. He stated, "For me, love is taking care of someone without making judgments. Taking care is the biggest form of love."
He further added that relationship is a duty, a job, which is extremely complicated. "Spending life with someone is a job. Especially when you want to be happy and not disturbed, getting into a relationship requires balancing such opinions. I believe my parents are heroes because I would not be able to do it," he said.
