‘Bad Newz’: After making everyone groove to the peppy track 'Tauba Tauba,' and with the track  'Jaanam' with the sizzling chemistry of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri with romantic, intimate and kissing scenes between the duo which is going viral. 

However, before the release of the movie, it faced trouble as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) requested the removal of a 27-second kissing scene from three different parts of the film "Bad Newz."


As per the reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) reviewed the film and ordered three kissing scenes between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri.

These scenes, when combined, totaled 27 seconds—one lasting 9 seconds, another 10 seconds, and the third 8 seconds.

Instead of completely removing the scenes, the CBFC asked for the 'visual of lip-lock' to be altered. Additionally, the CBFC requested minor changes, such as updating a disclaimer at the beginning, including anti-alcohol warnings, and increasing the font size of the anti-alcohol message.

After making these changes, "Bad Newz" received a U/A certificate from the CBFC. The film's total runtime, as listed on the censor certificate, is 142 minutes, or 2 hours and 22 minutes.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, 'Bad Newz' explores the comedic yet poignant tale of heteropaternal superfecundation, navigating unexpected fatherhood dilemmas with a backdrop of humour and chaos.

The film's trailer, which was recently released, introduces Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk as protagonists navigating unexpected fatherhood dilemmas, with Triptii Dimri adding to the comic mayhem.

'Bad Newz' takes a fresh spin on the genre, promising an emotional rollercoaster laced with rib-tickling humour.

The film, scripted by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja, is set to hit theatres on July 19.
