Attack on Saif Ali Khan: Speculations abuzz amid who took injured actor to hospital, Taimur or Ibrahim ?
PTC News Desk: Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from the hospital after he was brutally stabbed at his residence in Bandra. Amid investigation into this high-profile case, several speculations have been abuzz over who took Saif Ali Khan to hospital.
Initial reports suggested that it was actor's eldest son, Ibrahim who accompanied him to the hospital. However the auto driver who drove Saif to the hospital has said that he was accompanied by a small child likely his seven year old son Taimur and another person.
Statements by Doctor and auto driver
"He (Saif Ali Khan) walked by himself and sat in the auto. He was injured. A small child and one more person were with him. He asked me "kitna time lagega (how much time it will take to reach the hospital)". We reached it in eight to ten minutes," driver Bhajan Singh Rana said.
Besides the auto driver, the doctor who first received Saif Ali Khan in injured state recalled the day of incident and described that Saif reached hospital in an auto-rikshaw along with his younger child Taimur.
"I was the first one to meet Saif Ali Khan when he came to the hospital. He was drenched in blood, but he walked in like a lion with his small child, Taimur. Saif Ali Khan is a real hero," Dr Niraj Uttamani said in a media briefing.
The statements by the doctor and auto driver have firmly put the initial speculations to rest which suggested that it was Saif's eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who took his father to the hospital.
According to the reports, he was taken to hospital in an auto rickshaw as none of the drivers were present at the very moment in the car and public transport was the only resort left.
Meanwhile Kareena Kapoor Khan did not accompany Saif to the hospital. Several videos of the aftermath showed the actress pacing up and down while conversing with the staff persistently at the entrance of the resident.
