Arjun Kapoor confirms break up with Malaika Arora, says 'abhi single hun'
PTC News Desk: Rumours about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora's split have been making news for some months now. Arjun Kapoor confirmed his split with Malaika and revealed that he is single during a recent Diwali bash in Mumbai.
On October 28, the actor was accompanied by the Singham Again cast in Mumbai's Shivaji Park. Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and filmmaker Rohit Shetty attended Raj Thackeray's Diwali party.
At the event, Arjun Kapoor was seen addressing the audience. People screamed Malaika's name as soon as he took the microphone. He was spotted telling the crowd: "Abhi single hoon main, relax (I'm single now)."
The video quickly went viral across all social media channels. This is the first time Arjun has spoken out about his relationship status since speculations of their breakup surfaced.
Malaika and Arjun started dating in 2018. They were often seen going on vacation and posting lovey-dovey messages for each other.
However, their relationship reached a stumbling block a few months ago, and the two have refrained from discussing it. Arjun was by Malaika Arora's side throughout the rites after her father died. This gesture fuelled rumours that they were getting back together. However, Arjun's confession during the Diwali bash indicated that the relationship had ended.
On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor is waiting for the release of Singham Again, in which he will play the antagonist. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
Singham Again will be released alongside Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1.
