Amitabh Bachchan takes spiritual sojourn, visits Ayodhya Ram Temple
PTC News Desk: Renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan made a spiritual pilgrimage to Ayodhya, where he sought blessings at the recently consecrated Ram Mandir. His visit follows his participation in the consecration ceremony alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days earlier.
In exclusive footage obtained by PTI, Amitabh Bachchan is seen surrounded by tight security detail as he makes his way towards the revered Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, with the intention of seeking divine blessings. The news agency shared the video, captioning it with the announcement, "Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya's Ram Mandir to offer prayers." Dressed in traditional attire, Bachchan exudes reverence as he approaches the sacred site. According to reports from NDTV, the esteemed actor's presence in Uttar Pradesh is not solely for spiritual purposes; he is also slated to inaugurate a new showroom for a prominent jewellery brand, a role for which he serves as the brand ambassador.

During his earlier visit on January 22, Amitabh Bachchan graced Ayodhya with his presence to attend the pran prathishta ceremony of the Ram Mandir. Among the throngs of distinguished guests hailing from the realms of entertainment, sports, and politics, Bachchan stood as a notable figure. Accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, he partook in the auspicious occasion. Following the event, he took to social media, sharing snapshots on X, providing followers with a glimpse of the revered Ram Lalla idol housed within the temple precincts.

In an introspective entry on his blog, Amitabh Bachchan reflected on his experience, deeming it "a day filled with the relevance of divine spirit." He articulated, "A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit... back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya... the glory, the celebration, and the belief of faith... immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram's birth... Not much can be said beyond this... for faith does not possess description... (sic)"
Before the consecration of the Ram Mandir, reports surfaced indicating that Amitabh Bachchan had acquired a plot in an exclusive enclave in Ayodhya. Spanning approximately 10,000 square feet, the plot reportedly resides within a seven-star enclave merely 15 minutes away from the revered Ram Mandir.
