The film, which is touted to be India's largest trailer launch, will be unveiled in Patna this weekend. The city has great significance, and there's a reason why the filmmakers chose to have the premiere there.
Pushpa: The Rise was a huge hit in Patna, both in cinemas and on satellite, which prompted the decision. So much so that in 2022, a singer composed the Srivalli song in Bhojpuri, which became an internet hit.
Allu Arjun also has a large fan base in Patna thanks to the success of films such as Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
Pushpa 2, which stars Arjun as the lead, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The first half of the film was a smash hit, and the second half is expected to be just as successful. Fans have been expecting the film's trailer, with multiple hashtags increasing on social media almost every day.
Pushpa 2 is set to premiere on December 5 of this year. It is directed by Sukumar and stars Fahaadh Fasil in a key role.
