Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya and Dhanush file for divorce after 18 years of togetherness
Aishwarya and Dhanush divorce: More than two years following the announcement of their separation, renowned actor, producer Dhanush and filmmaker and director Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth have filed divorce proceedings at the Chennai family court under Section 13 B - divorce by mutual consent.
Earlier, in January 2022 Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shocked their followers by announcing their decision to part ways after 18 years of marriage.

Recently almost after a year and a half, the couple filed for divorce by mutual consent. Their case is set to be heard soon, as they have been living separately for the past two years.
In January 2022, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth announced their separation by issuing a joint statement.

Taking to his X handle, Dhanush wrote, "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better (sic)."

Aishwarya shared a similar post on her social media page. The two requested privacy to deal with their separation.
Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwarya tied knots with actor Dhanush in 2004. The couple have two sons named Yathra and Linga.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth is also known for her work as a film director and producer in the Tamil film industry. Dhanush, on the other hand, is a renowned actor, producer, and playback singer in the South Indian film industry, particularly in Tamil cinema.
