In a major development, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully tested its laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at a firing range in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, the officials said on Wednesday. The laser-guided anti-tank guided missile, with a range of up to 4 km, was test-fired from an MBT Arjun Tank at KK Ranges in Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACCS) in Ahmednagar on Tuesday. educareThe laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) is likely to enhance the capability of firepower of the Indian Army along the frontiers with Pakistan and China, the officials stated. Meanwhile, the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on successful test firing the ATGM.
