Former PM Manmohan Singh admitted to AIIMS Cardiothoracic Centre; health condition stable

Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was admitted to the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Sunday after he complained of uneasiness. As per the report, Dr Manmohan Singh, 87, is under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward of the premier hospital. Sharad Pawar took to Twitter and wrote: "Manmohan Singh has been hospitalized in AIIMS following chest pain. I pray for his early recovery, good health, and long life. He is a gentle, intelligent, knowledgeable, and very cooperative person as a politician and the same when he worked as an officer in the Government." Meanwhile, Former Prime Minister and Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS for observation and investigation after he developed a febrile reaction to a new medication. He's being investigated to rule out other causes of fever. He's stable and under care at the Cardiothoracic Centre of AIIMS, the sources said on Monday. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that "Much worried to know former PM Manmohan Singh Ji has been admitted to AIIMS. I wish him a speedy recovery and pray for his good health and long life."
