Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Wednesday got emotional while giving her speech during the groundbreaking ceremony of Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in Pakistan.

Harsimrat Kaur Badal said it was an emotional moment for her to speak at the historic Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara in Pakistan. She said: “It can be a new beginning in the name of Baba Nanak who said na koi Hindu na koi Muslim lekin ek Onkar.”
She also said, “I don’t have any friend in Pakistan, but Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave me an opportunity for darshan.”

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Dera Baba Nanak-Karatarpur Sahib road corridor today (November 28). Meanwhile, Harsimrat Kaur Badal performed Sikh rituals at the event site. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Gobind Singh Longowal along with other SGPC members was also present at the ceremony.
