Dilli Chalo: Punjab farmers enter Haryana, cops fail to stop them at Shambhu border
Dilli Chalo agitation: Despite water cannons, Punjab farmers are heading strong as they broke barricades at the Shambhu border and enter Haryana. The Haryana police used tear gas to disperse farmers but failed.
Meanwhile, stone-pelting also took place at the Shambhu border where Punjab farmers were trying to cross the border. According to the information, those pelting stones were miscreants who resorted to stone-pelting.

'Dilli Chalo' agitation has been intensified as Punjab farmers in huge numbers are marching towards Delhi. Since the Haryana government has sealed the border to stop the movement of farmers, it has placed several obstacles in the way of farmers.

The Haryana Police resorted to water cannons at the Shambhu border even as it used tear gas shells to disperse farmers and stop them from proceeding to Delhi to stage a demonstration against the farm laws.
However, the farmers are all prepared as they break the barricade placed by Haryana police and later threw them into the river. Also, the farmers removed heavy stones placed on the road to stop the farmers.
Earlier in the day, the farmers broke a barricade at Azimgarh in Haryana, after which the farmers marched to Delhi in cars, trucks, and tractors.
The Haryana government had sealed the Punjab-Haryana-Delhi border to stop the farmers marching towards Delhi in the wake of the 'Dilli Chalo' agitation.
