Dilli Chalo: Punjab farmer killed in Bhiwani road accident
Bhiwani road accident: Punjab farmers are heading towards Delhi as a part of their 'Dilli Chalo' agitation to protest against the farm laws 2020. Farmers are marching towards Delhi, crossing the border at various places in Haryana on Thursday. Meanwhile, a road accident took place in Bhiwani after a truck hit a tractor-trolley from behind. The Bhiwani road accident took place at Delhi-Hisar road near Mundhal village. In a road mishap, a 40-year-old died on the spot after he fell from the tractor-trolley. The deceased farmer has been identified as Dhanna Singh, a resident of village Chahilwali, district Mansa in Punjab. Meanwhile, the farmers did not let the police take possession of the body as the farmers are demanding compensation. Meanwhile, a heavy police force is deployed near the Singhu border as the situation remained tense. The farmers were on their way to Delhi via Bhiwani to participate in the 'Dilli Chalo' agitation. Meanwhile, farmers in Sonepat were showered with water cannons on Thursday night to clear the roads. Heavy police forces have been deployed at various places to prevent farmers from entering Delhi. Efforts are being made to prevent farmers from entering Delhi. -PTC News
