

Dengue: Centre rushes teams to Punjab, 8 other states, UTs
The Central government on Wednesday rushed high-level teams to nine states and UTs including Punjab and Haryana with a high caseload of Dengue to assist them in public health measures for control and management of the disease.
These states and UTs are Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and, Jammu and Kashmir.

A total of 15 states and UTs have been reporting their maximum cases in the current year; these states contribute 86 percent of the country’s total dengue cases till October 31, said the government of India.
