Delhi Police files FIR against Sapna Chaudhary; here's why
Delhi Police has filed an FIR against the Haryanvi singer and dancer Sapna Chaudhary in a fraud case. This is a fraud case of around Rs 4 crores. The complaint was filed against Sapna Chaudhary and others on January 10. According to The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW), Delhi Police, officials, Sapna Chaudhary had signed an agreement with Pankaj Chawla of a PR company for her stage show and singing performances in 2018. As per the complaint, Sapna violated the terms of an agreement and refused to perform on stage as promised. However, the complainant has not revealed the entire conspiracy. The fraud case against Sapna Chaudhary needs to be ascertained as to how, when, and where the money was collected by the organisation. Likewise, the books of accounts and records of the accused no.1 are likely to be seized for examination by the experts while the embezzled money of around Rs.3.5 Crores are expected to be traced and recovered. Likewise, an official stated that the role of unknown co-conspirators who assisted the accused in cheating must be ascertained.
