Delhi police arrest 4 from immigration racket IGI airport
New Delhi [India], August 24: Delhi police arrested 4 people from immigration racket which includes 3 agents and a passenger from Indira Gandhi International Airport for duping people on pretext of sending them to foreign shores. The accused of immigration racket have been identified as one person is state level kabaddi player, one Ex-sailor of the merchant Navy, one singer and one disc jockey. Also Read: NCVT ITI results 2022 out on ncvtmis.gov.in As per the officials of Delhi Police, “With the arrest of 1 passenger and 3 high profile agents, the team of the PS IGI Airport has again busted an immigration racket and succeeded in solving one case of cheating registered at PS IGI Airport vide FIR No. 268/2022, U/s 420/468/471/120B IPC and 12 PP Act PS IGI Airport, Delhi."
Meanwhile, earlier also on August 7 a man was arrested from IGI airport for arranging forged passport. The arrested was identified as Ravi Rameshbhai Chaudhary who holds an Indian passport and departed from Kuwait Airport but when he failed to clear the immigration formalities as he carried a forged passport along with him. During his travel document scrutiny by immigration officials, his passport appeared doubtful after thorough scrutiny. The officials discovered that the Indian man carried a duplicate passport bearing fake information on its bio pages.
