Jashn-e-Vaisakhi programme organised by Young Progressive Sikh Forum in association with Bela-Monde
PTC News Desk: Young Progressive Sikh Forum organised a Special programe Jashn-e-Vaisakhi in New Delhi's Bela-monde. The programme was a joint venture of YPSF and Bela-monde with high-profile dignatiries in attendance.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa were invited as chief guest for the prestigious event. The guests were honoured during the event for their presence on the asupicious occasion of Vaisakhi where they also extended wishes for the same.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was also presented with his portrait as mark of respect.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and Chief Guest for the event extended Vaisakhi wishes and said, " I am a true Punjabi by nature. Whenever Punjabis took charge of the country, it has always flourished and they haev set a new milestone."
She further asserted that so far she has attended many Vaisakhi programmes but none of them has been like the one organised by YPSF. This programme not only binds by culture but also gives a message of unity amongs the communities. Vaisakhi is not only a festival, but an epitome of historic struggle and unity.
YPSF Senior Vice-President and Bela-Monde Chairman Gurmeet Singh said the programme of these nature encourage the youth to stay grounded and rooted with their culture.
