Delhi rape: Minor girl raped and stabbed with scissors, battling for life at AIIMS
Delhi Rape: After the Nirbhaya rape and murder case in 2012, similar torture took place in the national capital where a 12-year-old girl was tortured after she resisted the rapist. The shocking incident took place in the Peera Garhi area of Paschim Vihar on Thursday where the victim was stabbed multiple times with a pair of scissors.
As per the report, the minor girl is battling for life at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi. The incident took place when the girl was home alone. Meanwhile, the police has arrested one person in the case on Thursday evening.
Reportedly, the police has claimed that the accused had scratch marks on his body that confirms that the girl had resisted the accused. As per the police, the accused is a drug addict and had also spent time in jail facing other criminal cases. He was released on a bail recently.
The accused was drunk when allegedly committed the crime, the police said, adding that he had sneaked into the victim's home with an intention of theft.

As per the sources in the victim's family, the report stated that the girl has suffered serious injuries in her private parts. along with some fractures. There are reports that suggest that the victim fought until she fell unconscious.
