Covid-19 vaccination in India: While there are demands of making Covid-19 vaccine available for all age groups, the Union Health Ministry stated that it will not be available to all age groups as of now. The aim of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in India was to provide vaccines to those who need them and not to those who want them. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that "Many people ask why shouldn't we open vaccination for all." The aim is not to administer the vaccine to those who want it but to those who need it," he said.
