Covid-19 vaccination in India: While there are demands of making Covid-19 vaccine available for all age groups, the Union Health Ministry stated that it will not be available to all age groups as of now. The aim of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in India was to provide vaccines to those who need them and not to those who want them. "There are two aims of such vaccination drives -- to prevent deaths and protect the healthcare system. The aim is not to administer the vaccine to those who want it but to those who need it," he said. Even as Bhushan issued a clarification on his remark “aim is not to administer the vaccine to those who want it but to those who need it". He said that "Fallacy that vaccination process controlled by the state, current phase for vulnerable sections, we are following a dynamic supply-demand mapping model."
